I'm hoping somone can help or give some insight about a problem I've been trying to troubleshoot since May.
My Sinn7 24/96 external USB Soundcard is not being read by my new MBP.
I have a mid 2012 version, running ML OSX10.8.4 I have done all my updates. I have also updated to the recent driver.
I didn't have these problems on my previous Macbook (late 2011 MBP) which was also running ML.
But strangely, another user in the Apple community was having the same problem with his late2011 MBP - Since it was working fine for me on the very same machine and OS but not on his - it's hard to know if it's a software or hardware issue.
In the beginning, my new machine wasn't reading the soundcard and there was no sound coming out. On my latest update of OSX, a strange clicking sound started coming into my monitors: But still not picking up the soundcard in sytem prefs. I have NO idea what is going wrong..
I'm exhausted, I've been trying to troubleshoot for 3 months (and not been able to work on my music) and the manufacturer has been unresponsive.
If anyone else has any ideas or suggestions, I would be incredibly grateful!

It handles the ability to route to 2 main studio monitoring speaker sets and also 2 separate headphone monitor mixes. This could allow for a convenient setup of control room monitoring with two miked musicians each with a dedicated headphone mix for instance.
Here’s an example set up. But I can think of a number of set ups I could build with the Status 24|96.
There’s 2 switchable XLR/6.3mm jack inputs, stereo RCA input (RIAA with ground, so you can input a phono source), stereo RCA output, digital I/O, together with 2 switchable XLR/6.3mm jack outputs. Drivers streammachine.
A dedicated Monitor-Mix control lets you crossfade between a zero-latency direct monitoring signal and software playback. Also, your A and B monitor sets can be blended together, or separated, by using the large central volume controls.
